PGT Economics Teacher – Pp International School, Rohini, North West Delhi
The school seeks a full‑time PGT Economics teacher for its senior classes at Pp International School in Rohini, North West Delhi. The role involves delivering the Economics curriculum to Classes XI and XII and fostering analytical thinking among students.
Daily responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Economics lessons in line with the NCERT syllabus, using interactive methods and real‑world examples.
- Assess student understanding through class quizzes, oral questioning, and immediate feedback.
- Maintain attendance records and update daily lesson plans on the school’s digital platform.
- Provide timely clarification of doubts and support students during study periods.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Design and prepare unit‑wise teaching resources, worksheets, and project guidelines.
- Conduct periodic formative assessments and moderate marks in coordination with the academic team.
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews, and collaborative planning sessions.
- Mentor a small group of students for career guidance and higher‑education preparation in economics and related fields.
Periodic responsibilities
- Organise and supervise annual Economics exhibitions, model United Nations simulations, or inter‑school economics quizzes.
- Contribute to the preparation of the school’s annual report and present student performance trends to senior management.
- Attend professional development workshops, seminars, and district‑level training programmes as required.
Qualification and experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related discipline (M.A. Economics or equivalent).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; TET/CTET certification is preferred.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a recognized school.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and experiential learning into economics instruction.
Salary and location
- Remuneration: Rs.45,000 – Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
