Assessment & Evaluation
Create formative and summative assessments, including periodic tests, model answer scripts and project work such as oral presentations and essay competitions. Evaluate answer sheets, provide detailed feedback and maintain accurate academic records for each class. Coordinate with the senior faculty for internal moderation and board exam preparation.
Professional Expectations
Maintain a disciplined yet encouraging classroom atmosphere, encouraging student participation and independent thought. Participate in departmental meetings, school functions and parent‑teacher interactions to discuss student progress. Stay updated with recent developments in English pedagogy and incorporate innovative teaching aids.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in English or related discipline with B.Ed / D.El.Ed. TET or CTET qualification is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid teaching certificate as per Delhi regulations.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a co‑educational school setting. Experience in handling board examinations and conducting enrichment activities is essential.
