PGT Physical Education Teacher Position at North-ex Public School in Rohini, Delhi
North-ex Public School in Rohini, North West Delhi, seeks an experienced PGT Physical Education Teacher to lead its dynamic sports and fitness programs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping young athletes’ physical and mental growth through structured PE curriculum and extracurricular activities.
You will design and implement engaging sports activities, including track and field, swimming, and team sports, ensuring alignment with school policies and national education standards. Your responsibilities will also include supervising student athletic events, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with coaches to enhance performance standards. Curriculum development is key—you’ll draft lesson plans that integrate physical fitness with academic learning, ensuring inclusivity for students of all abilities. Regular assessments and feedback will be part of your role to track progress and motivate participants. Safety protocols will be strictly followed during all outdoor activities to prevent injuries.
You’ll also mentor student teams, organize inter-house competitions, and promote a healthy lifestyle among students. Seasonal sports festivals and extracurricular programs will require your active participation to ensure smooth execution. Additionally, you’ll attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in physical education, bridging gaps between school and home efforts.
The ideal candidate will hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While a TET/CTET certificate is not mandatory, it will be an asset. Two years of relevant teaching experience in physical education, particularly in a school setting, is essential. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with a supportive environment in Rohini, North West Delhi.
