- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment during each teaching period.
Regular Responsibilities
- Design and assign weekly homework, projects and laboratory work to reinforce learning.
- Evaluate and record student performance in periodic tests and term examinations.
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews and collaborative planning sessions.
- Provide regular progress reports and parent‑teacher communication regarding student achievements.
Periodic Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise annual Science exhibitions and inter‑school Physics competitions.
- Conduct termly practical examinations and ensure proper maintenance of lab equipment.
- Contribute to school-wide events such as annual day and cultural programmes, showcasing Physics demonstrations.
Qualification and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Physics (M.Sc or equivalent).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting.
- Strong grasp of theoretical and practical aspects of Physics and ability to relate concepts to everyday life.
