About This Role
Appejay School in Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi is looking for a highly qualified and experienced TGT English Teacher to join our team. As a TGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from class VI to X. If you are passionate about teaching and have a strong background in English, we would like to hear from you.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students from class VI to X.
2. Prepare and administer assessments and exams to evaluate student progress.
3. Develop and implement English language learning strategies.
4. Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver English language programs.
6. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
7. Participate in staff development programs to enhance teaching skills.
8. Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
9. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in English language teaching.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Postgraduate degree in English or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching English in a school setting
- CTET/TET certification is preferred but not mandatory
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching English to students with varying learning needs
- Knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy in English language teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
