Many are still discovering the power of words—how a well-turned phrase can change perspectives or how a story can open doors to new worlds. They need a teacher who doesn’t just teach grammar or literature, but who ignites curiosity and builds confidence in expression. An English teacher here will shape not just readers, but thinkers and communicators who are ready for higher education and beyond.
The right TGT English Teacher in North West Delhi, Delhi will play a pivotal role in this growth. You’ll be the one who turns hesitation into fluency, confusion into clarity, and blank pages into vivid narratives. Beyond lessons, you’ll mentor students in public speaking, debate, and creative writing—skills that last a lifetime. Mount Abu Public School values teachers who see potential in every child and guide them with patience and passion.
Your daily responsibilities will include planning structured lessons aligned with CBSE standards for grades 6 to 10. You’ll conduct interactive sessions that make Shakespeare relatable and grammar exercises engaging. Regular assessments will help track progress, and feedback sessions will ensure no student feels left behind. You’ll also organize inter-house elocution, essay writing, and poetry recitation competitions to foster a vibrant literary culture. Parent-teacher interactions will be key—keeping families informed and involved in their child’s progress. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular projects will add depth to learning.
To apply, you should hold a postgraduate degree in English with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Prior experience teaching English at the secondary level is essential, and familiarity with CBSE curriculum is a plus. While TET or CTET is not mandatory, it reflects your commitment to teaching standards.
