Day-to-Day Duties
The TGT Sanskrit Teacher will perform the following duties:
- Plan and deliver lessons in Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 12
- Prepare and administer Sanskrit language and literature exams
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Sanskrit curriculum
- Participate in school events and activities related to Sanskrit culture and language
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Sanskrit language and literature
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have a post-graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field (M.A., M.Sc., or M.Phil. in Sanskrit). A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is also required for this teaching position. Prior experience teaching Sanskrit in a school setting is highly desirable.
