- Analysing and reviewing board results to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing assessment strategies to measure student learning outcomes
- Collaborating with other department heads to ensure interdisciplinary learning
- Providing guidance and support to students on academic and personal matters
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Social Science education
- Participating in staff development programs and contributing to school-wide initiatives
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A postgraduate degree in History, Geography, or a related Social Science subject
- A B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting
- NET or SET qualification is preferred but not essential
