Senior Us Curriculum Kg All Teacher and Potential Head of Department

What You Will Do
Own the Us Curriculum Kg scope and sequence for Kindergarten to Grade 5, aligning weekly plans with the school’s academic calendar and board expectations. Monitor classroom observations, provide actionable feedback to teachers, and maintain high instructional rigor in every grade.
Design and conduct weekly professional development sessions focused on differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning, and classroom management tailored to the Us Curriculum Kg model. Create resource banks, model lessons, and assessment templates that teachers can adapt immediately.
Analyze student data from formative and summative assessments to identify trends and adjust curriculum pacing. Ensure all teachers submit timely lesson plans, student portfolios, and progress reports in the prescribed format.
Collaborate with the leadership team to set annual academic targets for the Us Curriculum Kg stream and track them through periodic reviews. Present concise academic updates to parents during open-house sessions and parent-teacher conferences.
Mentor a team of 8–10 classroom teachers, including regular classroom visits, co-planning, and reflective feedback loops. Guide new teachers through induction and help them integrate smoothly into Jindal International School’s culture.
Oversee the smooth conduct of unit assessments, benchmark tests, and mock board examinations for Grades 3–5. Ensure adherence to assessment guidelines and maintain secure handling of all test materials.
Recommend and implement interventions for students performing below grade level, including pull-out sessions and parent partnerships. Track intervention outcomes and adjust strategies as needed.
Participate in curriculum review workshops with external consultants to keep the Us Curriculum Kg content current and relevant. Document all changes and communicate them clearly to staff.
Serve as the primary liaison between the school leadership and external agencies regarding Us Curriculum Kg compliance and accreditation requirements.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for this senior teaching role. Five years of full-time teaching experience in Kindergarten to Grade 5 is required, with at least two years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with the Us Curriculum Kg framework in a school of similar size and profile. TET or CTET certification is not required but can be considered as an added advantage.
Familiarity with Cambridge Primary, IB PYP, or Common Core-aligned curricula will be viewed positively. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners are non-negotiable.
