Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Accountancy, ensuring alignment with the latest CBSE curriculum. Use interactive methods like case studies and real-world examples to make concepts relatable for students. Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback. Maintain organized classroom resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital tools for interactive learning.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with senior faculty to integrate Accountancy into interdisciplinary projects, such as business simulations or financial literacy programs. Participate in school-wide academic planning sessions to refine teaching strategies for Accountancy. Collaborate with the principal and department heads to ensure curriculum standards are consistently met. Attend regular faculty meetings to discuss teaching methodologies and student performance trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Prepare and review annual lesson plans, ensuring they reflect evolving educational trends and student needs. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Participate in school events like career guidance workshops or guest lectures by industry experts to enhance student exposure to Accountancy.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or a related commerce subject with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in Accountancy or commerce subjects at the secondary or senior secondary level. Familiarity with CBSE syllabus and teaching methodologies is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
