PGT Chemistry Teacher Job in South Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Job Overview
The Cambridge International School, a premier educational institution in Kalkaji, South Delhi, invites applications for an experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our faculty team.
What You Will Do
As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students of classes XI and XII, preparing them for the CBSE board exams. You will also be involved in curriculum leadership, designing and implementing effective lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Additionally, you will coach students for the board exams, conduct mock tests, and provide individual attention to students who require it. You will also maintain the Chemistry laboratory, ensuring that it is well-equipped and well-maintained. Furthermore, you will participate in parent-teacher meetings, communicate with parents, and keep them informed about their child's progress. You will also be involved in departmental activities, such as organizing seminars, workshops, and competitions. Finally, you will contribute to the development of the Chemistry department, suggesting new ideas and initiatives to improve the teaching-learning process.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or a related field. You should also have a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree, and at least 3 years of teaching experience in a school. A TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not mandatory. You should have a strong knowledge of Chemistry, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
