Role Scope
The PGT Hindi Teacher will conduct senior secondary Hindi classes for classes XI and XII at Cambridge School, located in Defence Colony, South Delhi. The role involves delivering the NCERT Hindi curriculum, preparing lesson plans, and fostering a love for literature among students.
Day‑to‑day Professional Responsibilities
Deliver interactive Hindi lectures, incorporate poems and prose to enhance comprehension, and maintain discipline in the classroom. Conduct regular remedial sessions for students needing extra help and coordinate with the Head of Department for smooth scheduling.
Subject‑Specific Responsibilities
Design and evaluate assignments, projects and oral presentations aligned with the Hindi syllabus. Organize Hindi debates, elocution contests and cultural events that reflect local traditions and school celebrations.
Assessment, Planning and Student Support
Prepare monthly and term‑time assessments, mark answer scripts promptly and provide detailed feedback. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress and suggest improvement strategies. Contribute to the school’s Hindi resource library by recommending books and reference material.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Hindi along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Location
