Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver daily PE periods with clear learning outcomes for students aged 11-17.
Organise and supervise at least three inter-house events each term, including kho-kho, basketball and athletics.
Maintain the sports equipment store, submitting requisitions before the start of each academic session.
Conduct fitness assessments twice a year and share concise reports with the principal and parents.
Coach the school team for district-level CBSE clusters in volleyball and athletics.
Arrange annual health check-ups in collaboration with the school nurse.
Document lesson plans and student progress in the prescribed format every week.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school’s eco-sports initiative that links physical activity with environmental awareness.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education from a recognised university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with specialisation in Physical Education.
Minimum two years of full-time teaching experience in Physical Education.
CTET/TET is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Fluency in spoken Hindi and English is essential for daily communication with students and parents.
