Role Summary
Mata Gujri Public School, located in the heart of Defence Colony, South Delhi, is seeking a qualified and experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join its faculty. As a Physics Teacher at our institution, you will be responsible for educating and guiding students in grades 9-12.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Physics to classes 9-12 following the CBSE curriculum
- Prepare and deliver lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' understanding of Physics concepts
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide programs
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making
- Attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events related to Physics
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc.) or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET/TET certification (preferable)
- Experience in teaching Physics to grades 9-12
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and assessment requirements
Good to Have
- M.Sc. in Physics or related field
- Experience in teaching Physics in a CBSE school
- Knowledge of online education platforms and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
