Daily responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature, ensuring clarity of concepts for each class.
- Prepare and distribute learning materials that align with the curriculum and student needs.
- Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a tidy and resourceful classroom environment conducive to active learning.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss student performance and curriculum adjustments.
- Coordinate with co‑teachers for interdisciplinary projects that integrate English skills.
- Conduct assessments and prepare detailed reports for termly reviews.
- Mentor and support new teaching staff in adopting effective classroom practices.
Periodic responsibilities
- Lead school‑wide English competitions or cultural events to promote language appreciation.
- Organize parent‑teacher interactions to share student achievements and areas for growth.
- Update teaching resources and adopt new pedagogical tools during the academic break.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Demonstrated ability to inspire students and adapt lessons to diverse learning styles.
Salary and location
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.45,000 to Rs.85,000 per month. Full‑time position based at Cambridge School in Defence Coloni, South Delhi.
