Appejay School | Panchsheel Park invites a dedicated TGT Mathematics Teacher to join its vibrant academic community in Sarita Vihar, South Delhi. This role focuses on delivering engaging and rigorous mathematics education to students, fostering both academic excellence and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will contribute to a school environment that values innovation, critical thinking, and holistic student development.
Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering structured mathematics lessons tailored to students' learning levels. You will conduct interactive sessions, use visual aids, and incorporate real-world examples to make concepts relatable. Daily classroom management involves ensuring discipline, encouraging participation, and addressing student queries promptly. Additionally, you will prepare daily lesson plans aligned with the curriculum while adapting teaching methods based on student feedback and progress.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve assessing student performance through quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests. You will maintain detailed records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Collaborating with the mathematics department will include participating in planning sessions, sharing teaching strategies, and contributing to curriculum enhancements. Regularly updating parent-teacher meetings with progress reports and discussing student strengths and areas for improvement is also part of your role.
Periodic responsibilities include organizing mathematics competitions or workshops to boost student interest. You will conduct in-house training sessions for fellow teachers to improve teaching techniques in mathematics. Additionally, attending school-wide academic events and representing the school in external mathematics-related activities will be part of your responsibilities.
Appejay School | Panchsheel Park requires a candidate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and at least three years of teaching experience in mathematics. A postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial.
