About This Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic TGT Physical Education Teacher to join our school in Vivek Vihar, South Delhi. As a Physical Education teacher at Dev Samaj Modern School, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will play a key role in promoting physical literacy, sportsmanship, and teamwork among our students.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Physical Education lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
- Design and implement curriculum that promotes physical literacy, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Prepare students for inter-school Physical Education competitions and events
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Supervise and mentor students during Physical Education and sports activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation
- Develop and implement assessment and evaluation strategies to measure student learning outcomes
- Foster a safe and inclusive Physical Education environment that promotes student well-being and engagement
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning practices
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching positions
- TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory
- 2 years of experience in teaching Physical Education in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to promoting physical literacy and sportsmanship among students
Salary and Benefits
