Role Summary
As we seek to strengthen our Physics department at R.s Junior Modern School in Defence Coloni, South Delhi, we are looking for a skilled and experienced TGT Physics Teacher to lead our team and drive academic excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Physics teacher to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and implement the Physics curriculum for classes 6-12, ensuring that it is aligned with the CBSE syllabus and meets the needs of our students.
* Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality teaching.
* Analyze and evaluate student performance, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to improve results.
* Develop and implement assessment tools and strategies to evaluate student learning and progress.
* Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that our Physics program is integrated with other subjects and disciplines.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local educational institutions and organizations to enhance our Physics program.
* Participate in school events and activities, such as science fairs and competitions, to promote interest in Physics among our students.
* Stay up-to-date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas and technologies into our teaching and learning practices.
* Contribute to the development of our school's Physics policy and procedures.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a post-graduate degree in Physics or a related field, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, and at least 5 years of teaching experience. A NET or SET qualification is preferred. You should also have a strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and a proven track record of academic achievement.
