Organizing weekly review sessions to reinforce concepts taught, including recitation, composition, and translation exercises. Participating in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student progress.
Periodic responsibilities include conducting term-end assessments and evaluations to measure students’ progress in Sanskrit. Preparing progress reports and feedback for parents, highlighting students’ strengths and areas needing improvement. Attending school events and cultural programs where Sanskrit is featured, such as festivals, recitals, or inter-school competitions, to promote the subject’s relevance in daily life.
For the TGT Sanskrit Teacher position at Cambridge School, a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field is essential. A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
