Core Duties
Teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level, covering grammar, composition, and classical texts like the Vedas and Puranas, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus.
Designing interactive lessons that incorporate storytelling, poetry, and cultural activities to make the subject engaging for students.
Assisting in organizing school events like Sanskrit festivals, recitation competitions, and workshops to promote the language’s relevance.
Collaborating with the academic team to integrate Sanskrit into interdisciplinary projects, such as history or ethics classes.
Maintaining a classroom environment that encourages respect for traditional values while adapting teaching methods to modern learning styles.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field is mandatory. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for this position.
Four years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required to ensure familiarity with classroom management and curriculum standards.
While TET/CTET is not mandatory, holding one of these certifications will be an advantage, especially for those teaching in Delhi schools.
Experience with digital learning tools or multimedia resources for Sanskrit instruction is a plus.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000, along with other benefits as per school policy.
