The reality of this role
At Oxford Public School in Saket, you will manage daily Sanskrit classes for grades 6 to 8, ensuring students grasp grammar, literature, and pronunciation. Work is classroom focused, with a mix of theory and interactive drills. You will also prepare students for state exams and inter-house competitions.
What you will actually do
1. Deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons covering Veda, epics, and contemporary texts.
2. Design and grade worksheets, quizzes, and oral exams.
3. Conduct language labs using audio‑visual aids.
4. Mentor students in recitation and debate skills.
5. Coordinate with the principal for curriculum alignment.
6. Organize cultural events like Sanskrit poetry recitals.
7. Maintain detailed attendance and progress reports.
8. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development workshops.
Who can do this job
Post‑graduate in Sanskrit or related field with 3 years of teaching experience. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
What you need to bring
Strong command of Sanskrit grammar and literature. Ability to simplify complex concepts. Patience, enthusiasm, and a student‑first attitude. Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
