What You Will Do
As a PGT Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans to cater to the diverse learning needs of our students.
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to design and implement Mathematics curriculum and assessments.
- Organizing Mathematics clubs and extracurricular activities to promote Mathematics learning beyond the classroom.
- Providing one-on-one support to struggling students and mentoring talented Mathematics students.
- Conducting parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress.
- Participating in school-wide initiatives to promote Mathematics education and awareness.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and assessments.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A postgraduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc./M.A.) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent qualification for teaching.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
