Role Summary

What You Will Do

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Zoology lessons for Classes 11 and 12 in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
2. Create and update lesson plans, assignments, and assessment materials focused on human physiology, genetics, ecology, and animal diversity.
3. Conduct regular practical sessions in the biology lab to reinforce theoretical concepts with hands-on experiments.
4. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, projects, and practical assessments.
5. Provide remedial support to students struggling with Zoology concepts.
6. Organize educational field trips and guest lectures related to wildlife conservation or life sciences.
7. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, marks, and progress reports.
8. Collaborate with other science teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and science exhibitions.
9. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and staff development programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Zoology or related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Science stream.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in Zoology for senior secondary level.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, with good communication skills.

Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualified.
- Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools.
- Familiarity with smart classroom tools and digital teaching resources.
- Exposure to inquiry-based learning or experiential teaching methods.
