PGT Botany Teacher Position at Delhi English Academy, Dwarka
Delhi English Academy in South West Delhi is seeking a dedicated PGT Botany Teacher to join their faculty in Dwarka. This role focuses on delivering advanced botany education to high school students, ensuring a strong foundation in plant biology, ecology, and related scientific principles. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in teaching postgraduate-level botany concepts while fostering critical thinking and hands-on learning.
The primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging lectures on topics like plant taxonomy, genetics, and environmental botany. You will also design and conduct practical sessions, including field visits and lab work, to enhance students’ understanding. Assessing student performance through exams, projects, and continuous evaluation will be part of your duties. Collaborating with the academic team to align botany curriculum with national education standards is essential.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in botany or science subjects, is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this role, having it will be an advantage.
