Mathematics (PGT) Vacancy in Dwarka, South West Delhi, Delhi
SAM International School
Job Description
About This Role
Sam International School integrates AI-powered smart boards, real-time analytics, and a cloud-based learning management system to deliver personalized Mathematics lessons. The PGT Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver senior secondary curriculum while leveraging these tools to track progress and adapt instruction. The role demands strong subject knowledge and the ability to translate abstract concepts into visual, interactive experiences for students in Dwarka.
Pedagogy and Tools
Lessons are planned on Google Classroom and pushed to students’ tablets the evening before class. Interactive geometry sessions run on GeoGebra, while calculus problems are solved live using Desmos graphing calculators on smart boards. Blended learning cycles alternate between teacher-led discussions and self-paced modules hosted on the school’s LMS. Assessment data from these platforms feed directly into parent portals so families stay informed without waiting for report cards.
Day-to-Day Duties
Create weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE senior secondary Mathematics standards and upload them to Google Classroom before Sunday midnight. Record 10-minute concept videos each week using Explain Everything and embed them in the LMS for flipped classroom use. Conduct three hybrid doubt-clearing sessions per week: two in-person after school and one live on Microsoft Teams for students who are unwell. Grade assignments and quizzes within 48 hours using the LMS rubric tool and provide audio feedback via the platform. Organize monthly Mathematics Olympiad practice sessions where students solve past papers on tablets under proctored conditions. Collaborate with the STEM coordinator to curate open-source problem sets from Khan Academy and Art of Problem Solving for advanced learners. Monitor student engagement analytics on the LMS every Friday and flag disengaged learners to the counselor within 24 hours. Represent Sam International School at inter-school Mathematics symposia and present tech-enabled teaching case studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics from a recognized Indian university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification mandatory. Minimum five years of classroom teaching experience in senior secondary Mathematics, preferably in Delhi-NCR schools. Prior experience with smart boards and Google Classroom required; LMS certification will be provided during onboarding.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in digital assessment tools such as Kahoot, Quizizz, and Nearpod to gamify revision. Ability to create screencasts using OBS Studio or Screencast-O-Matic for flipped lessons. Comfort with Microsoft Teams and Zoom for hybrid parent-teacher meetings. Experience integrating open educational resources into structured lesson sequences.
What You Get
Rs.50,000 - Rs.80,000 per month, paid on the last working day of each month. Annual performance-linked bonus based on student outcome metrics. Free high-speed Wi-Fi at school, subsidized meal passes, and access to the digital resource library.
