What You Will Do
Plan and deliver structured lessons covering algebra, calculus, geometry, and statistics as per CBSE curriculum. Use real-life examples from Kapashera’s local markets and metro connectivity to make concepts relatable for students. Organize weekly problem-solving sessions and peer discussions to strengthen conceptual clarity.
Prepare term-wise assignments and sample papers aligned with the latest CBSE guidelines and exam patterns. Conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions before unit tests and mock exams to ensure no student lags behind. Integrate technology by using Geogebra, Desmos, and Khan Academy resources for interactive learning.
Monitor progress through continuous assessment and provide individualized feedback to students and parents during PTMs. Encourage participation in math Olympiads and quizzes organized by Veer Public School and external bodies. Collaborate with the math department to update teaching methodologies and resource materials.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in the relevant subject is mandatory. Candidates must have cleared CTET or equivalent TET examination to meet Delhi government norms.
Three years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level in a recognized school. Proficiency in English and Hindi medium instruction preferred to cater to local student needs.
Preferred Skills
Strong command over advanced mathematics topics including trigonometry, vectors, and differential equations. Ability to create engaging lesson plans using digital tools and open educational resources. Experience with CBSE exam paper analysis and student performance tracking systems.
