Key Responsibilities
As a PGT Physics Teacher at Sam International School, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and delivering engaging Physics lessons to students of different age groups, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
* Developing and implementing the Physics curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the CBSE guidelines.
* Mentoring junior staff members, sharing your expertise and experience to enhance their teaching skills.
* Contribute to the development of the Physics department, including curriculum planning, assessments, and exams.
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress, preparing reports, and providing feedback.
* Participating in staff meetings, contributing to the decision-making process, and representing the Physics department.
* Collaborating with other departments to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
* Ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and safety.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess:
* A Postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
* A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
* A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a senior role.
* Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared NET or SET in Physics.
