Core Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging political science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum. Design and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student understanding of key political concepts, governance systems, and contemporary issues. Assess student performance through regular evaluations, quizzes, and projects to ensure academic growth.
Additional Duties
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to political awareness, such as debates, model elections, or guest lectures. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate political science themes into interdisciplinary projects. Support student clubs or societies focused on civic engagement and public affairs. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, case studies, and multimedia materials. Assist in organizing field trips or workshops on political science topics when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree for teaching at this level. Minimum of four years of teaching experience, preferably in Political Science or a relevant subject. Familiarity with CBSE syllabus and educational assessment practices is a plus.
