Delhi Public School | Vasant Kunj is looking for a full‑time TGT Biology Teacher to join its Kapashera campus in South West Delhi. The role involves delivering the Biology curriculum to secondary students and contributing to the school’s academic environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Biology lessons for classes IX to XII, aligning with the CBSE syllabus and school standards.
Prepare practical lab sessions, maintain equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and parent‑teacher interactions to foster collaborative learning.
Contribute to curriculum development, co‑curricular activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within the science department.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Biology or related science, coupled with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a CBSE affiliated school.
Demonstrated ability to manage laboratory work and inspire interest in biological sciences.
Salary and employment type
Rs.28,000 – Rs.45,000 per month, full‑time position.
