Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Biology Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Planning and delivering lessons that cater to diverse learning levels and needs
* Developing and implementing inclusive lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and scientific inquiry
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
* Maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment
* Providing individualized support to students who require extra help
* Participating in school-wide events and activities to promote science education and awareness
* Keeping records of student progress and maintaining accurate student records
* Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
* A post-graduate degree in Biology or a related field
* A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
* Strong knowledge of Biology and its applications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
Preferred Skills
* Experience in teaching Biology to students from diverse learning levels and backgrounds
* Familiarity with inclusive pedagogies and strategies
* Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner
* Patience, empathy, and a willingness to adapt to different learning styles and needs
* Strong organizational and time management skills
