About This Role
Jm International School seeks a TGT English Teacher for its Dwarka campus to handle classes 6 to 8. The role involves planning lessons, conducting classes, and tracking student progress in English language skills. Candidates with 3 years of classroom experience in English teaching are encouraged to apply.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly English lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum
Conduct interactive grammar and literature sessions
Assign and evaluate regular writing tasks and projects
Organize monthly vocabulary and reading challenges
Prepare students for quarterly assessments and Olympiads
Maintain attendance and performance records
Participate in parent-teacher meetings
Contribute to school events like literary fests and book fairs
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in English
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
Minimum 3 years of English teaching experience in middle school
Good to Have
CTET or TET qualified
Experience with activity-based learning in English
Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns
What Makes You a Fit
You understand how to simplify complex grammar topics for young learners. You enjoy creating story-based lessons that keep students engaged. Experience with remedial teaching for weak students is a plus.
Perks and Pay
Monthly salary between Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health coverage, transport allowance, and annual increments.
