Job Overview
Veer Public School in Kapashera, South West Delhi, Delhi is seeking a qualified TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will have excellent teaching skills, a strong knowledge of Mathematics, and excellent communication skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Mathematics to students in grades 6-8
2. Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans
3. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress
5. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum
7. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
8. Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student learning
9. Provide individualized support to students as needed
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred)
- 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting
- Familiarity with online learning platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills
