Indraprastha International School in Dwarka, South West Delhi, invites applications for a TGT Physical Education Teacher role. This position focuses on designing and delivering engaging sports and fitness programs for students, ensuring alignment with the school’s holistic education philosophy. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering physical well-being, teamwork, and discipline through structured activities, competitions, and outdoor learning experiences.
The teacher will plan and conduct daily physical education classes, including games, athletics, yoga, and fitness routines. They will also supervise extracurricular sports events, organize inter-house competitions, and ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities. Collaboration with the sports coordinator and other faculty members will help integrate physical education seamlessly into the curriculum, promoting a balanced and active student lifestyle.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education is mandatory. Four years of relevant teaching experience in physical education or related sports activities is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be highly beneficial for career growth within the school.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, along with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment in one of Delhi’s premier educational institutions. The role is based in Dwarka, South West Delhi.
