Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons for classes IX and X, aligning with NCERT syllabus and school standards.
Create classroom activities, projects and field trips that develop critical thinking and civic awareness among students.
Assess student progress through tests, assignments and oral presentations, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary themes and participate in departmental meetings and school events.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and student behavior in accordance with school policies.
Requirements
Post‑graduate qualification in Social Science, History, Geography or related discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification is mandatory; TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
At least two years of relevant teaching experience in a recognized school.
Strong command of English and Hindi, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and classroom technologies.
Demonstrated ability to inspire students and foster a positive learning environment.
