Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and teach Social Science lessons for grades 6–10, aligning with CBSE frameworks and Green Fields School’s internal milestones. Conduct weekly tests, half-yearly and annual examinations, and provide detailed feedback to students and parents. Coach students for board exams, focusing on history, geography, political science, and economics with real-life case studies.
Organize monthly quizzes and model UN simulations to build analytical and public speaking skills. Lead the Social Science Society and coordinate inter-house debates on current affairs relevant to the Delhi-NCR region. Collaborate with the HOD to update lesson plans and resource materials for classes 6 to 10 every term.
Train students in map reading, data interpretation, and project work using local examples from South West Delhi. Mentor junior teachers and assist in organizing field trips to historical sites like Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb for practical learning.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET or CTET will be preferred during selection. Candidates must have three years of full-time teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level.
Fluency in English and Hindi is essential, and familiarity with CBSE guidelines is preferred. Experience with digital teaching tools such as Google Classroom and interactive boards is an advantage.
