Leadership opportunity
Gd Goenka School is looking for a capable NTT Hindi Teacher who can step into a leadership role guiding the nursery and kindergarten Hindi curriculum. This position offers clear pathways to head the Hindi department as the school expands its early years programme in Rajouri Garden.
Strategic responsibilities
Curate engaging Hindi lesson plans for nursery and kindergarten that build foundational language skills and cultural appreciation. Collaborate with the academic leadership to align Hindi milestones with the school’s overall early childhood framework.
Monitor student progress through anecdotal records and age-appropriate assessments, sharing insights with parents during regular interactions. Lead teacher-parent orientation sessions to explain the Hindi learning journey and home support strategies.
Organize Hindi rhyme assemblies and storytelling sessions that showcase student progress to the broader school community. Mentor junior teachers by modeling effective classroom management and Hindi language delivery techniques.
Contribute to the annual academic calendar by suggesting Hindi-themed events that strengthen school identity in West Delhi. Liaise with external Hindi resource providers to source books, flashcards and digital aids for the early years classrooms.
What you bring
Graduation in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential for this Hindi Teacher role. Three years of hands-on nursery or kindergarten teaching experience with proven classroom leadership is required.
Familiarity with Hindi pedagogy for young learners and an ability to create simple, joyful learning resources is expected. Experience in planning and executing small group activities and circle-time sessions will be an advantage.
Career trajectory and growth
The successful candidate will initially lead the NTT Hindi section while training alongside the senior Hindi coordinator. After two years of consistent performance, the role will transition into a full Head of Department position overseeing Nursery to Grade II Hindi.
