What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust the teaching methods accordingly.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to make Botany engaging and interactive for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver interdisciplinary projects that integrate Botany with other subjects.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require additional help outside regular class hours.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Botany or a related subject (M.Sc.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- TET or CTET certification is preferred
- 3 years of experience in teaching Botany at the senior secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
