What You Will Do
As a PGT Computer Science Teacher at Holy Convent School, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering engaging lessons in computer science that cater to different learning styles.
- Using technology to create interactive and immersive learning experiences.
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust your teaching strategies accordingly.
- Providing individualized attention to students who require extra support.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop a comprehensive computer science curriculum.
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Participating in school events and activities that promote computer science education.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in computer science and incorporating them into your teaching.
- Developing and implementing projects that encourage students to apply computer science concepts to real-world problems.
Required Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is required for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
