Adarsh Senior Secondary School, a renowned institution in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi, seeks an accomplished and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) with a specialization in Economics to lead the Economics department. As a seasoned educator, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instructions, mentoring junior staff members, and driving academic excellence.
Day-to-Day Duties
The selected PGT Economics Teacher will be responsible for the following duties:
- Developing and implementing the Economics curriculum in line with the school's academic vision and goals.
- Conducting lectures and tutorials for students of Classes XI and XII.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and understanding.
- Mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support in teaching and academic affairs.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Analyzing and interpreting exam results to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for enhancing student performance.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Economics and incorporating these into teaching practices.
- Managing departmental resources, including textbooks, reference materials, and equipment.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certificate. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a senior secondary school setting, is required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a NET or SET qualification.

Salary and Benefits
