Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced PGT Economics Teacher to join our faculty at Banasthali Public School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Economics to students in grades 11 and 12, and will also contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of three years of teaching experience and a postgraduate degree in Economics.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Economics to students in grades 11 and 12
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, exams, and assessments
- Develop and implement the Economics curriculum
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of student progress
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other communication with parents
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Economics and incorporate new ideas into the curriculum
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Economics from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions
- Minimum three years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Economics and its applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
