About This Role
As a PGT English Teacher at Vishal Bharti Public School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic future of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to teach English language and literature, and to help students develop their language skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT English Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering lessons on English language and literature to students from classes 9 to 12
- Marking assignments and exams, and providing feedback to students
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor students' progress
- Maintaining student records and attending parent-teacher meetings
- Collaborating with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum
- Participating in school events and activities related to English language and literature
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching methods to engage students
- Maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in English (MA/MSc/MCom) from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- TET or CTET certification (desirable but not mandatory)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in English at the PGT level
