About This Role
St Marks Sr Sec Public School Delhi is seeking an experienced Pprt English Teacher to join our faculty for English teaching in Punjabi Bagh, West Delhi, Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, and be able to create engaging lessons for students.
How You Will Teach
You will teach English language and literature to students in grades 6-12, using a range of methods and resources to meet the needs of different learners. This will include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and using technology to enhance teaching and learning. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and projects that promote student learning and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students in grades 6-12.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, such as online resources and multimedia materials.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and projects that promote student learning and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events, such as literary festivals and language competitions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Attend meetings and workshops to stay up-to-date with best practices in English teaching.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in English or a related subject. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is also required for teaching positions at St Marks Sr Sec Public School Delhi. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not necessary.
Preferred Skills
You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. You will also need to be able to use technology to enhance teaching and learning, and be committed to ongoing professional development.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is Rs.18,000 - Rs.25,000 per month, depending on experience.
