Role Summary

Teaching Approach
Lessons are planned with blended learning modules that combine textbook content with audio-visual aids and online quizzes. Smart boards replace traditional blackboards for grammar drills, poetry recitals, and literature discussions. Google Classroom assignments and discussion forums extend learning beyond school hours.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE English syllabus for Classes 6 to 10. Upload notes, worksheets, and audio clips on the LMS before each class. Conduct daily smart board sessions for prose, poetry, and writing exercises. Assign and evaluate Google Classroom homework with automated reminders. Organize virtual reading clubs and spelling bees using Zoom or Google Meet. Monitor student progress through the LMS analytics dashboard. Coordinate with the IT coordinator to troubleshoot minor tech issues. Attend monthly faculty meetings to review curriculum updates and teaching strategies.
Who Can Apply
Candidates with a postgraduate degree in English and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed are eligible. Prior teaching experience of at least three years in a similar setting is required. Familiarity with CBSE guidelines for English language teaching is preferred.
