Role Summary
The school is looking for a TGT English Teacher to shape how Grade 6–8 students read, write, and speak English. Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly English units that align with CBSE guidelines and keep students engaged.
Design worksheets that balance grammar drills with creative writing prompts.
Conduct reading circles every Wednesday after lunch to encourage peer discussion.
Use Patel Nagar’s local landmarks—like the metro station or community park—as settings for short-story exercises.
Mark notebooks and assignments on the same evening to give prompt feedback.
Organize the annual English Week in November, coordinating skits, debates, and elocution.
Collaborate with the art teacher to illustrate student poems for the school magazine.
Attend the Friday department meeting to share ideas and align on next week’s goals.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in English along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Three years of classroom experience in TGT English is essential. While CTET or TET is not mandatory, it will be viewed favorably during selection.
Salary and Benefits
