Scope of the Role
The teacher handles English classes for classes IX to XII, prepares lesson plans aligned with the CBSE syllabus, and collaborates with department heads to integrate language skills across subjects. Coordination with senior staff ensures smooth execution of co‑curricular events and language competitions.
Core Academic Duties
- Deliver interactive lectures, discussions, and activities that develop comprehension, grammar, literature analysis, and communication abilities.
- Use audio‑visual aids and digital resources to make lessons engaging and relevant.
- Provide guidance for project work, debates, and essay writing, encouraging critical thinking.
Assessment and Planning
- Design formative and summative assessments, marking answer scripts and providing constructive feedback.

Qualification and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in English or related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
