Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned TGT English Teacher to join our team at Rich Harvest Public School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from grades 6 to 12. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and teach English lessons to students from grades 6 to 12
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Prepare and administer English language proficiency tests
- Collaborate with peers to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
- Assist in administrative tasks as required by the school management
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in English. A post-graduate degree in English literature or linguistics is an added advantage. Additionally, a valid CTET/TET certification is preferred but not mandatory. With at least 3 years of teaching experience, you will have a proven track record of creating engaging lesson plans and assessing student progress.
