Job Description
St Marks Senior Secondary Public School in Punjabi Bagh, West Delhi seeks a dedicated TGT Hindi Teacher to join its team and inspire students with engaging Hindi language instruction. The teacher will report directly to the Hindi department head, working closely with peers to maintain academic standards. Their primary responsibility is to design and deliver effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, incorporating modern teaching methods and interactive activities.
Core Duties
Teaching Hindi language, literature, and grammar at the TGT level, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus and state board guidelines. Developing engaging lesson materials, including worksheets, audio-visual aids, and digital resources to enhance student comprehension and participation.
Assessing students through continuous evaluation—written, oral, and practical—while maintaining transparency in grading practices. Collaborating with the Hindi department to integrate cultural themes, regional literature, and contemporary Hindi poetry into classroom discussions.
Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities to promote Hindi as a vibrant and inclusive subject. Supporting the school’s mission by encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the Hindi language and its heritage.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Hindi or a related field is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching at this level. Four years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in Hindi or a similar subject, is highly desirable. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred for career advancement.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with opportunities to contribute to a dynamic and inclusive educational environment in Punjabi Bagh, West Delhi.
