Responsibilities include lesson planning, assessment design, and classroom management aligned with CBSE guidelines.
Collaboration with other TGT teachers for vertical planning and periodic parent-teacher interactions is expected.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and deliver daily lesson plans for Mathematics classes 6 to 10 as per TGT syllabus.
2. Conduct chapter-wise tests and surprise quizzes to monitor progress and provide feedback.
3. Create and maintain teaching aids such as charts, models, and digital presentations for better understanding.
4. Organize remedial sessions for students scoring below average in Mathematics.
5. Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus before each term exam.
6. Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and anecdotal observations for each student.
7. Participate in school-level academic audits and peer reviews for quality enhancement.
8. Guide students for Olympiads and other inter-school Mathematics competitions.
9. Uphold discipline in the classroom and corridors during school hours.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a secondary school.
CTET qualified preferred, TET optional.
Fluency in Hindi and English, both written and spoken.
Good to Have
Experience in teaching CBSE curriculum specifically for classes 6-10.
Familiarity with smart classrooms and digital tools like GeoGebra or Desmos.
Participation in Mathematics workshops or refresher courses.
Prior experience in a school located in West Delhi.
Knowledge of pedagogical strategies for inclusive classrooms.
Preferred Skills
Strong ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for students.
Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
Proficient in MS Office and basic digital tools for teaching.
Empathy and patience to handle diverse learning paces in students.
