About This Role
As a TGT Mathematics Teacher at Gd Goenka Public School, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from classes VI to X. The school utilizes modern tools such as smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance the learning experience.
Pedagogy and Tools
Our school is committed to blended learning and utilizes a range of tools to engage students. The Mathematics Teacher will be expected to use Google Classroom to post assignments, grades, and announcements, and to integrate technology into their teaching practices.
What You Will Do
- Teach Mathematics to classes VI to X, using a range of pedagogical approaches and technologies
- Use smart boards to create engaging lessons and to facilitate student participation
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate technology, such as math simulations and online resources
- Utilize Google Classroom to post assignments, grades, and announcements
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide Mathematics initiatives
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in Mathematics education
- Develop and administer assessments to measure student understanding
- Use data to inform instruction and to make data-driven decisions
- Participate in school events and activities to promote Mathematics education
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree required
- TET/CTET certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy, including proficiency in Google Classroom and other online teaching tools
- Experience with blended learning and technology integration
- Strong organizational and time management skills
