Role Summary
We require a qualified TGT Sanskrit Teacher to teach Sanskrit to students in class 6 to 12. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. The TGT Sanskrit Teacher will also work closely with other faculty members to ensure a well-rounded education for our students.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a TGT Sanskrit Teacher, you will be expected to use a variety of pedagogical tools and techniques to teach Sanskrit, including the use of Sanskrit scriptures, grammar, and vocabulary. You will also be responsible for conducting language and literature activities, and leading discussions on Sanskrit literature and history. The school provides a well-stocked library and a language laboratory for the teacher's use.
Day-to-Day Duties
The TGT Sanskrit Teacher will be responsible for the following duties:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans for Sanskrit classes
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Conducting language and literature activities
- Leading discussions on Sanskrit literature and history
- Preparing students for Sanskrit examinations and assessments
- Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure a well-rounded education
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
- Adhering to school policies and procedures
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field, and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the CTET or TET examination.
